DIFFINATION OF SEARCH ENGINES
The search engine is programs that are created for specified keywords search and return a list of websites where the keywords were found. Although search engines are a general class of programs, they often used to describe specific systems such as Google, Alta Vista and Excite; the user can find documents on the World Wide Web and Usenet newsgroups.


TYPES OF SEARCH ENGINE

Individual: These are search engines who have their own database of websites data where they search and show results .
Meta: Meta-seekers do not compile databases. Instead, they look for the databases of multiple sets of individual engines simultaneously.
A meta-search engine items for more than one user each search engine and query their databases of web pages and receive results from all search engines. We could thus save a lot of time by initiating the search at a single point and avoids the need to use and learn several separate search engines. This can be very helpful if we are looking for a wide range of results.
